Hi All,
I am in the last phase of my gmat prep with mocks every week and working on weak areas. Can you please tell me during mocks shall
I use normal paper and pen that i have been using till now or use the gmat scratch pad and pen that is used in actual exam at test center,
advantage of using paper pen is that I can review my appraoch and mistake later on as the rough work is still there on paper while if i do it on whiteboard or gmat scratch pad would erase it to make space. Or is it like I can use paper pen for non official mocks for practice and use gmat scratchpad for official mocks.
Kindly advise.
Hi kreel11,
I'd prioritise being able to review my approach. Also, writing with a marker on the noteboard they give you isn't so different that we need to prepare for it. Yes, it will be a little different, but the noteboard will be the last thing on your mind as you're moving through your test. It's far more important to make sure that the markers given to you are new or new-ish (otherwise they could dry up during your test).
That said, some test takers do want to dot the i's and cross the t's, so practicing with a replica noteboard could be good for them.
