That is a tough call! I think I'd still vote Haas though.

I'm on a similar boat...

Admitted to Haas and Anderson, but I haven´t heard about any scholarship though.

I received a call from an admissions representative since I met him in my visit. If any scholarship was available for me, was he the one to inform me?

Does the online status reflects the scholarship offer?

PS: Really happy for both admittances! :-D

Most likely Cornell (I may regret in the crappy winter). I am still waiting to hear back R2 from LBS, Columbia and Yale though. Have an interview with Ross and Austin soon :). We will see.

so since these are fellowships (not scholarships), that means you'll have to do some kind of work/internship/ta-ing right? does ucla not offer scholarships, only fellowships?

I was just obsessively reading last year's thread and came across this notion that you receive a status change from "Your MBA application is being reviewed by our admissions committee and we will contact you if we have any questions." to Your MBA application is being reviewed by our admissions committee and you will receive your decision on the decision date." when you either receive an invite for interview or a ding. This was in a sense a tip-off from the ad com that informed people well before they were dinged of their fate. In other words, if your status changed and you didnt get an invite within 48hrs, you were most likely dinged.

Did this happen to round one applicants this year or was this fixed?

i'm R1 and i got dinged w/o interview and my online app status did go from "...will contact you if we have any questions" to "...will receive decision by decision date". not sure how much i read into that. but just fyi.

I wouldn't read too much into the updated status...it seems pretty random. Mine went from "Submitted" to "Your MBA application is being reviewed by our admissions committee and we will contact you if we have any questions." to "We want to interview you" (paraphrasing that one). It was a looong wait between the change to in review to interview. Then my status stayed as interview until the decision date when I got my admit.

In short, try not to stress too hard on the status update -- I was definitely doing the same thing and I know how frustrating it can be. That said, I will prob be checking these forums non-stop for info on my other schools until I receive a decision.

did anyone else who got referred to the FEMBA get a call on friday? I got called late in the afternoon but had a bad connection and did not get the name of the person who called. Can anyone share?
