I got rejected but they said if I'm interested in FEMBA or EMBA in the rejection letter, if so someone will contact me?
I live in LA and emailed alex a few times. anyone else get this in the rejection letter?
I also had that part thrown in there. A quick message board search turned up a couple others who had received the same exact lines in the past, both based in LA (I'm from the area too). It seems like it has to do with location but I didn't find any follow-up posts and with the wording of it all and the whole rejection element I'm kind of wary to interpret it as anything more than informational. Guess we'll have to wait and see — someone did mention they received a personal phone call soon after.

Kind of a similar situation with my friend last year. He was waitlisted but they told him he'd be in for FEMBA. So if you're willing to do a part time program, definitely show interest! I believe it is a good sign.
Same story. I was waitlisted in R1, and waitlisted today again . No email, status change barely looked different except for the new date on the letter. Would love to hear what people that got off the R1 waitlist did to improve their odds?

Honestly, I didn't send Anderson any correspondence regarding steps I had taken to improve my odds, but I was taking an online class through Coursera to show them that I was committed to going back to business school. If my wait listed status did not improve, I would have sent them my completion certificate.
got rejected from full-time but they accepted me for the part-time since I live and work across ucla. I'm super excited , I think they wanted to give people outside of LA an oppurinity for the full time and people in LA to the part time.
Ding! Any chance, I can get reject feedback? This was a bit disappointing and surprising to not even get an interview invite.

I am sorry for you. I had the same situation last year and Anderson didn't provide me the feedback, but this year I re-applied and got in, even though I applied R2 this year. Hope you get off waitlist at Ross, if not- don't give up and push yourself to do it one more time.

Just got Waitlisted by Anderson in R2. However, why do I get this email from UCLA? Sounds like they already kicked me out of the WL. Any WLister got this email?
"As usual we saved some space for Round 3 applicants in the incoming MBA class, so now is still a great time to apply. Create a potential West Coast option for yourself by submitting an application before the April 17 deadline!"

Sounds like a generic marketing email to get people to apply. Ignore it -- you just happen to be on the email list.
Any R2 admits get an update regarding scholarships/money, or know when those traditionally go out?

I know some people were already informed of scholarship offers when they received their offer of admissions. I'm not sure if they are still making scholarship offers.
