Hi, all I'm starting a thread here for the Fall 2020 applicants. I submitted my application for the round 1 (February 1st deadline). I finished my video interview before Feb 1st, and am awaiting response. Interviewer informed me that the result will be announced via email by the end of February. This is the only school I applied to after I did tremendous amount of research. I am keeping my fingers crossed on the acceptance. Has anyone submitted the application and finished interview? I turned in my application 4/22 and got the email saying I was accepted on 4/23. I also applied for the Spring 2020 Cohort and didn’t get in, but I know an interview was part of the process. Did they waive the interviews because of COVID-19?

Hello,

Very new to MBA Arena. Planning to apply to iMBA at UIUC(I hope it is not too late). I read somewhere but not able to find it now that due to CoVID, it has waived its application fee , deposit.
Did any or all of you who got accepted, have a GMAT score. I have around 6 years experience and 2+ in the USA. I see TOEFL is not required for me. Was wondering if GMAT was required for getting accepted?

I applied for the Spring 2020 Cohort without a GMAT score and was rejected without an interview. I took the GMAT and was accepted for Fall 2020. This was the only difference in my application.

Did anyone get email from Graduate college? I don't think that my application portal has been updated. Although I received the email from Associate Dean Brooke Elliott, my portal still reads - Application Status: Awaiting Decision.

Just a tip, you can go ahead and submit the application already if everything is done. The recommendation letters will be checked as they come in. Just be sure to chase your recommenders and let them know the deadline is fast approaching so they submit it sooner. The quicker they do, the quicker the decision from the adcoms will come.

Hi my iMBA program moved to admission interview stage after 8 days (I called them up to see the situation).
I have an interview on 1st September, little nervous. Not sure, let's hope it works out

Write them an email mentioning the same. If you have a degree from an English speaking country or you have worked in an English speaking country for two years you're granted a waiver.
