I saw the e-mail first but I do not know whether the status of the online application changed before... I had not checked it for two weeks. The status now is: Zugelassen mit Vorbehalt (Conditionally accepted)

Very impressive :)

I think they take into consideration the whole GPA for admission purposes but base their decision on the supplementary classes on what type of classes you have. I think they want people to have a really solid understanding of statistics and accounting before proceeding to the tougher classes :)

Thanks strawberry, and I bet that you are IN too with those stats, 100% sure. Well, let's say 99.9999% ;)

mooncakes - it will pay off to gain some job experience before doing the Master, it is better a gap year with one/two internships. That way it will much easier to get interviews when you do the Master. It is really a key factor.

Usually people reported in the previous years results of the applications in late May / early June but it seems that we already have a winner here :)

I just wanted to say that you are facing a hard dilemma but do not base the decision on the short term financials - cost of living and/or tuition because these are very insignificant in the longer run.

Just think about where exactly you would enjoy living - DACH or London :)

I am sure you would have great career options in both places.


Thanks Ivan! I would prefer living in Switzerland, no doubt about it... I have to speak with some key people that know both LSE and HSG very well before I finally decide. I will tell you next week :)

"Conditionally accepted" - Hurray!

Application sent on 25th March, so it has been much faster than I thought. Do you know how long I have to wait for printed version of the admission letter?

I presume that I will be "officially accepted" when I place originals of the documents and complete MBF Integration Days, am I right?

bk2, based on previous years comments I think thats exactly the procedure. Oh and congrats :)

Ivan91, I ordered an official transcript and then just uploaded the scan, and I would recommend you do the same (especially because you are cutting it fairly close to the deadline with your application, no ?). Otherwise they say if they are not satisfied they will give you some time to remedy the situation but I'm not sure if thats the case past the deadline for the application.

Yes....unfortunately, because of my job and my German language exams, I ended up flirting with the deadline ...

I guess the best thing to do is as you said to upload scanned transcripts and then order the official ones going straight to their office..

Good news from me guys..they sent me an email explaining that is OK for them to receive the official score a few days later. Whats important ist to take the test until the deadline (30th) and I will do exactly that :)

Congrats guys who got admitted. My status has just changed to conditionally accepted as well. It finally comes:)

I might start learning German before the semester. Is it possible to skip the introductory german course in the first week or do a more advance one instead?

A quick update from me guys :)

Today I got 680 on the GMAT - Q44 V 39. Not happy at all but there is nothing really I could do - no time to retake, I will just prepare the rest of application as well as I could and will hope for the best :))))

Exactly two weeks after I submitted, the status is still - "Eingereicht - In Bearbeitung" (submitted - being processed)
