at Urbana-Champaign (U Illinois)!

Hi all!

I thought I'd get a forum started for a couple of reason:

1. To get networking rolling and to help coordinate any type of housing or questions about the area
2. Help out R2 and R3 applicants with any questions if they may have them
3. Discuss any additional items; i.e. Additional programs; Urbana-Champaign; GMAT; the application process; interviews with admin; etc.

Feel free to post on here and we can get an admit list going and help out our potential classmates!

congruts to the admits! Does anybody know....how many kids is the adcom hoping to matriculate for the class of 2016? It was 79 last year.... In july, i remember one of he adcom people telling me that they are reducing the size of the class for 2015 by tightening...rather, upping credentials of the class.

I applied for round 2, date: DEC 14th '13 , am still waiting for the Illinois adcom to respond. Is there any decision date dead line for round 2 applications.

Hey. They usually respond. Your best bet, email them. Although on your side you might think that your file is complete, on their side, they might still be missing a thing or two. Call/Email them and ask them if your file is complete. They usually take action on completed files.

1 Tuition and fees are subject to change. The tuition figures found here are based on 2014-2015 tuition rates. 2015-2016 fees have not been approved yet but may increase by as much as 5%. The living allowance, books/supplies, and other expenses are only estimates. Please note that financial aid may not be approved for the total expense level, especially those exceeding the non-resident levels.

2 $12,058 is the estimated living expense expected for the nine-month school year. To be in compliance with regulations set forth by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is required to estimate the living allowance of international graduate students for an entire calendar year, which is why this estimate is higher for international students.

3 These dues are not charged to second-year students.

International students must verify $54,724 (personal finances plus annual scholarship) to have I-20 or DS-2019 issued for visa purposes.
