Thank god I found this thread becuase I thought the interviews were mostly for people on the bubble. I received my invitation to interview in LA but my interview date is the first week of January. I submitted on Nov 14th.

Dang, I submitted my app on 11/14 too and I have my interview on Tuesday. Perhaps a lot of people submitted on 11/14 (close to the deadline) so they have a lot of interviews to schedule and I heard they were off for xmas so that must be why there is a big gap. I was hoping we would hear decisions before the end of the year, but it doesn't sound like that is going to happen.

Received my invitation to interview yesterday as well. I was surprised because I applied over 7 weeks ago, but I guess it is a good sign since everyone else is getting them. Looks like the website is information from last year and things have changed.
