What strategies are you referring to?

By "strategies" I mean the "MGMAT Strategy Guides"

Gotcha, I thought you may have been referring to the self study PDF's on the MGMAT site.

Would you stop between Part I & II to complete the problems in the OG guides?

I'm going to stop working against the system and just burn through each book.

Thanks!

I'd advice you to look through the both parts in each book. Mainly because you've said that your goal is 700+. I'm taking GMAT in late march like you. Currently I've almost finished my quant prep. In case you are curious about it, I started with Kaplan math workbook, it gave me a sense of how GMAT questions look like. After that I switched to MGMAT guides, which I find very useful for GMAT prep. I've done every single exercise in every chapter and every OG/QR question of course. Now I'm redoing questions which were done incorrectly and also picking questions from question banks on their site. (MGMAT I mean) At this stage I'm at Q47-48 I guess. Mostly mistakes occur in 700+ questions. So the last part of my quantprep will consist in taking some GMATclub tests.
I've described my prep in such details since we are in quite a same situation I believe (concerning goals and test dates).
p.s. However, if you are decent at Verbal, that's totally different case, you haven't mentioned your verbal skills.

Thanks, I am more worried about quant prep time vs verbal prep. I have had my fair share of LSAT prep (Scoring just below 170) and feel my RC and CR are strong enough to warrant more time on quant. I also haven't had any math instruction since freshman college math.

I think if you're good enough in the stuff covered in Part 1 you'll be capable of getting 700+, especially since you say your verbal is pretty good. My take was that the Part 2s were for people trying to go 760+ or who were not being challenged by Part 1 quant. I hadn't done any math in almost 6 years when I started up with the MGMAT, and studying with the Part 1s alone I got a Q46 even after some stupid mistakes on what I think was a bad day for me (I had been getting 48-49 on my previous CATs.

So it'll really depend on how much time you're able to put into it and where things fall out on your CATs.

Ive been doing Part I, then some questions, and then going into Part II + questions. I am planning on finishing the MGMAT series and any other books I want to read or strategies I want to take notes on. From there I am going to do a lot of OG questions and problem sets... then do CATS the last few weeks before the test. That is just me.
