Hi guys,

I should have known this and there is probably answer on the GMAT official site. But just want to check for sure - how is GMAT scored? Base on the statement I found below, it seems to imply the 800 max score we always refer to here only comprises of Quant and Verbal, and AWA/IR are separate score? So does that mean the Schools will be able to see these split out separately. So if you get 700+ on Total Score but a bad AWA/IR score then it may still affect your chance of admission? Thanks.

"...Like the Integrated Reasoning score, the Analytical Writing Assessment score, which is given in half-point increments on a scale of 0 to 6, is not factored into the GMAT Total Score"
