Thank you for fast response. To be honest, I'm a bit confused what went wrong last time - I was sure that I was quite competitive:
1) High test scores and GPA
2) Prestigious employee (McKinsey)
3) Good personal story and essays (or at least I thought so together with my MBA consultant).
Going forward, I'm not sure what should I do.
I was thinking about applying in round 1 this year. All I can do, however, is to show some marginal improvement: try to get another reference letters and / or change my story (that would be a bit awkward, because I was sincere last time I told my story to adcoms and it haven't changed ever since).
Another option would be to wait for one year which will definitely add some sexy stuff to my story (at least I hope so).
However, if there's no particular downside for applying this year as well, why shouldn't I try it just to try.... Who knows, what if I get lucky this time? Hence the original question...
(do more attempts results in a higher probability to get in or just kill my future chances)
