Hi Gents,
I'm French and went to business school in France, to a French business school, which offered Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and MBA programs. These were ruled by their own admnistrations and were fully based on the typical American B-School.
Nevertheless, I received grades on a scale of 20 (typical in France) converted to letters. So for example, anything above 15.5/20 would be considered an A. Then from 15.5 to 13.5 you would get a B, etc.
There were no + or -, so you get a letter and that's it.
My average score was a 16.4/20, which is to say an A. I got 5 Bs and 24 As in total, and received a 18.5/20 on my thesis. I
basically was valedictorian, was on the Dean's List every semester and received First Class Honours (does this even matter???).
I would very much appreciate any help or insight as to how to properly convert my grades to a GPA score that will make sense to American MBA programs.
Thanks very much for your feedback and please feel free to ask me questions if I have not provided important information,
Hadrien
