MBA.com down for maintenance ?

Question

I am unable to access GMAT prep tests provided by GMAC (desktop website). Their software still has tests from old format. Is there an alternate way to access these tests ?

Seems like mba.com is down for maintenance. No information has been provided by when will it be up. I saved my last week before real GMAT to practice the GMAC free tests. Which else test should I take at this time ?

P.S. Not sure how long they will be up for, so go ahead and install the pre April 2018 GMAT Prep Software on your computer if you are time-sensitive for GMAT prep practice.

I am not able to continue onto my ir section in the gmat prep practice gmat number 3. It keeps showing error es002 and reloads the page. Does any one else have the same issue?

You can download the previous version of GMAT Prep here: https://www.mba.com/global/store/downlo ... tware.aspx (it is not the shorter version of the test, however, but that's much better than nothing and somewhat minor on the grand scale of things)

One important lesson from these breakdowns: Never assume that GMATPrep will be available two-three days before your scheduled GMAT date . Need to keep that in planning.

Hi, I took a few mock tests on the online version (gmat prep 5 and 6 to be specific). After I selected an answer there was a lag of about 10 seconds till the next question appeared. In the meantime, the clock kept ticking in the background while the screen showed your question is being evaluated. I lost about 5 mins this way on the exam. Is this a glitch or in the real exam also you need to wait till the next question appears? Would be grateful if someone can respond to this asap as this has reduced my scores drastically. Thank you.

This seems to be an unfortunate situation that has happened and been reported multiple times.

Your only option is to call GMAC and complain. Sorry. We have not been able to figure out what causes it, but I would recommend trying a new browser or clearing cache/etc and disabling some of the pop up blockers, and other blocking/anti-virus software just to be safe.

Hi. No, the issue won’t happen on ththe actual test - I never heard of any issues like that on the actual gmat.
