Thanks Linda. I will explain this in my extra essay.

I did request and was granted additional time during my last attempt.

Did you have accommodations on the earlier attempts?

I too have a similar dyslexia related problem. I applied for accommodation and was refused it the grounds that my verbal skills are in the normative band even though my maths is in the 97% percentile.

I appealed and was rejected again.

I sat the test under normal conditions this morning and achieved 640.

I feel that the GMAC are discriminating against me. Is there anything I should do differently to persuade them that I need extra time?

Thanks

Yours is a tough situation. Did you provide documentation regarding your dyslexia? Perhaps from school records or a therapist? If not, that might help in another appeal. In the absence of a satisfactory conclusion, you might need to re-evaluate your choice of schools. It's also possible to use the optional essay to explain your condition to the AdCom and hope for the best.

Good luck!
