Hi
I am a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to US CPA) from India. I have average academic record. I got 73% in 10th, 74% in 12th and 67% in my final year of graduation. It took me two attempts to clear my CA intermediate exam and three attempts to clear my CA Final exam. I have studied in vernacular language till 12th standard.
I think I have a very good work experience. After completing CA, I worked for two years with Deloitte Haskins and Sell and handled some good assignments.
Since last two and half year, I am working with a listed manufacturing company with a turnover just above 400 Million USD. I am working there as a Senior Manager – Finance. I am head of Accounts, Costing, Finance and MIS. I am also Core Team member of SAP 6.0 up gradation.
I am planning to appear for GMAT by December 1st week. What do you say? What are my chances of making to top colleges? What GMAT score I should have?

You have some good work experience, though your average GPA should be balanced by a great GMAT. In terms of how great, what schools are you targeting? This will help me customize my answer for you. I am very familiar with Deloitte and it is respected at many good B schools in the US. Breaking 700 is a good mark to propel you into that league, since it seems you have some good experience, senior manager is a great role.

I am planning to apply to Chicagao Booth, NYU Stern, Kellogg and Warton. My first preference is NYU Stern. Kindly share your view on the same.
I was going through BW / FT sites and i observed that average salary offered at Top colleges and Tier II colleges are almost same. and tution fees varies significantly. if financing study is difficult then how good Tier II colleges are? How recruiters view Tier II colleges?
