The title of the webinar is The 5 Fundamental Questions That All MBA Applications Ask
To identify these questions, MBA Prep School assembled a team of experienced admissions consultants – who, like me, have many years of experience helping candidates earn acceptance letters to their dream schools. Together, we analyzed the application forms, essay questions, and interview transcripts. We also interviewed admissions officers to get their opinion on the questions they most wanted answered. What we concluded at the end of our research was that, although every school has its own unique application, five (5) fundamental questions appear again-and-again:
1. Are you a leader?
2. What are your career goals?
3. What have you achieved professionally?
4. Why are you applying to our school?
5. How can you enrich our community?
Now, these aren’t the only questions admissions officers want answered – but they are the essential ones.
You may be asked them directly in the essay questions and interviews – or indirectly via your resume and application forms. Your references will add to your answers via their recommendation letters.
The interesting thing about these questions is that they are deceptively simple -- answering them well is a lot trickier than you might think.
In the webinar, we’re going to go through each question one-by-one. I can’t give you the "right answer"
– because the right answer depends on you. But what I can do is provide you with an approach to answering them. In the webinar, you'll learn how to create impressive responses that are customized to your strengths, your story, and your plans. There will also be a Q&A session at the end where I will answer YOUR fundamental questions about applying to business school.
