Let me chime in here before Alex responds....
I work for one of the oil majors. If you are interested in the GM program (graduate rotation program) at an oil major, I would recommend looking at schools like Kellogg, Booth, Rice & UT. I know that my company and other oil majors recruit from these schools. Keep in mind though that these rotation programs are not heavy recruiters. My company for example had 2 positions available this year and they received 2600 (no Kidding!!) application. So if I were you, I would have a backup plan.
Operations consulting: I don't know what specific companies you have in mind. I know that Mckinsey, BCG, Booz, Accenture, Schlum work closely with the oil majors. If you are targeting these companies, then you should focus on the top 10 schools to have a realistic chance.
Lastly, I would suggest exploring the employment report for the schools you are interested in. You would get a good idea of the companies that come on campus.
Hope it Helps!
