Introducing Robbie Walker

Question

I want to introduce  Robbie Walker , who has her MBA from the University of Chicago, to GMAT Club members. She will assist me in responding to question on Accepted's thread. Since joining Accepted.com in 2007, Robbie has helped Accepted's clients gain admission to  top MBA programs  like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Kellogg, Chicago Booth, Berkeley Haas, NYU Stern, UCLA, London Business School, and more!

Prior to joining Accepted, Robbie lived in Japan for several years and assisted Japanese clients with their applications to graduate school programs in the U.S. and Europe, providing editing assistance for client essays and resumes as well as admissions guidance.

Hello,

I just wanted to poke my head and and say hello to Robbie, and to say I worked with her on my essays and her input was amazing. I thought i had things covered but her edits helped add depth, clarity and purpose to my words. I spoke to many people about consultants as part of my due diligence and she comes highly recommended not only from me, but a long list of MBA hopefuls, admits, and graduates.

Really appreciate you're help to gmatclubbers!

Age:31 
Country: Indian
Status: Married
Languages: English, Hindi
Background: Electrical Engineer

Degree:
• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from state college
( GPA 3.5/5.0 ~69% )

Experience: 10 Years . Totally into Investment bank IT, various functions in capital markets. Understand IB functioning.
• 1 year Engineer Trainee Industrial Automation Service provider
• 6 year in one of largest Indian Software services company , managed onsite team for various IB clients. Resigned as Asst. Consultant
• 3 years (current) managing IT deliveries for Middle office, APAC. Largest Swiss Bank

Extracurricular Activities: Had accident at 8 because of which nearly lost an eye. So, had a tough childhood owing to the fragile physical condition. However, I started getting better since I started in engineering college. 
No constant participation though some in college and some in office.

International Exposure: India - 5 years
Tokyo - 4.5 years
Singapore - currently

GMAT1: 620 Q47 V28
GMAT2: 680 Q45 V37

Target Schools:
• London Business School
• INSEAD
• Kellogg
• Ross
• Chicago

INSEAD and LBS are my main targets. Would appreciate if you could shed some light on my chances - post mba I wish to be in Operations (running business) or PE/VC (creating business), depends on how things unfold during the course. 
Am not sure but should i retake GMAT ? Aim for 720+, I think i can just that my hectic office schedule and 2 relocation in last 1.5 year keep me from concentrating. But would be stable now.

Your stats don't make you a strong candidate at your target schools as those are competitive schools. If you could raise your GMAT to the 720-740 range, that'd be optimal.
