Hi,

PLEASE GUIDE ME TO DECIDE THE COLLEGES TO APPLY TO.I would like to pursue MBA IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS.
MY PROFILE IS AS BELOW:

AGE : 24
GENDER : MALE
NATIONALITY : INDIAN
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND : COMPLETED 4-YEAR ENGINEERING DEGREE COURSE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
GPA : >3.5 (we do not have GPA method of ranking but using some converson sites on net came to this range)
GMAT : 710
WORK EXP : COMPLETED 2.5 YRS WITH ACCENTURE
DESIGNATION OF SOFTWARE ENGINEER
JOB PROFILE IS OF DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
I JOINED ACCENTURE AS ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER AND AFTER ONE YEAR GOT PROMOTED
TO CURRENT POST
EXTRA CURICULLARS : OCA CERTIFIED DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
PART OF TWO-MEMBER GROUP WHICH ORGANIZES TEAM OUTINGS, GAMES, SOCIAL
EVENTS FOR MY PROJECT TEAM IN ACCENUTRE

Please help me to select the colleges where I should apply.Would be great if you can help me with the list stating the difficult ones,the medium ones and the easier ones whre I can get admission.

I want to be become a technical consultant. Manage clients for software firms, understand the client's requirements and help them with solution which can work up to the their convenience.

A quick aside before replying directly to your question: you're better off not translating your GPA - let the schools do that. They've got enough experience/guidelines to do so.

OK, you're a younger applicant whose work experience is not completely impressive, although you've got a solid GMAT. Because of the lack of work experience, I'd suggest focusing on schools outside the top 10 and those, like UVA Darden and Ross, that value work experience. Given your goals, schools where you'd be competitive include Duke, CMU Tepper, Cornell, UT McCombs, and UNC Kenan-Flagler.
