Hi ThanhS,
You are reading way too much into this. As far as I know, Tuck is the ONLY school even close to the kind of client management systems/databases that are able to robustly track this stuff. I know that a lot of schools *want* to start learning more about when and how candidates interact at their schools (especially in the age of "no social intelligence" among b-school students - the perception, not necessarily the reality), but I want a billion dollars. Doesn't mean I have the ability to get it. (Contrary to popular opinion, my consulting practice is not, in fact, worth a cool billion.)
My advice is to continue to visit schools as the consumer and not the product ... at least when its just a visit. For interviews, put on your game face and dress to impress. But we're a ways off from schools carefully tracking each and every visit.
As for Tuck, to come full circle, getting out there once is enough. The reason they prize it is because they want you to see the school, experience the culture, and have a visual. You don't have to repeat that for their benefit.
Hope this helps!
Respectfully,
Paul Lanzillotti
