Alex -
Wharton says 2 letters of recs are required, preferably from supervisors. For my other recs, I'm planning to use a combo of supervisors and those overseeing certain extracurriculars that played a big role in shaping my story but not career related. Based on my evaluation of other items they asked for: namely the career question is required etc, it seems that Wharton places a heavy emphasis on career as oppose to other schools that focus more on extracurriculars. Is that a fair assumption or no? Given that, should I select 2 direct bosses on the job or could I be more creative? Should I focus essays on careers more? I'm in the PE/VC industry, which they seem to like, so I'm fine with emphasizing that aspect. I also have plenty of outside activities that makes me unique, which I know is important, but was wondering for Wharton specifically how much room for creativity I have.
Thanks.
