Good afternoon,

Below is my information, for a preliminary profile evaluation:

1)WE: Two years audit at a Big 4. My current role (going into my third year), is at a hedge fund, doing sr acct./controller level work, involved with all aspects of financial reporting, investor reporting, compliance, operations, etc.
2) GMAT: Will be taking the GMAT for the first time in February, current practice tests show 700-720. With any luck, will target 710+.
3) College info:
Claremont McKenna College, 3.4 GPA, Economics, 2004.
University of Southern California, MAcc, 3.4 GPA, 2006.
4) Extracurric: Member and volunteer coach of local non-profit running club, training beginners and others looking to begin a fitness lifestyle/train for a goal race.
5) Licenses: Active CPA.
6)
Stretches: Columbia, NYU, Booth, Kellogg

Targets: UCLA, Darden, Duke

UT-Austin (McCombs) is my very first choice as I am currently a Texas resident and would like to stay here post-graduation.


7) Post MBA: Consulting/IB (Energy/Alt. Energy sectors)

Your chances of acceptance to UT McCombs are high. (FYI, we have aQ&A scheduled with UT on Feb. 14) . You have evaluated your profile and chosen your schools well. If you are looking for more stretch programs, you may want to consider MIT and Haas.
