I am applying for part-time MBA programs in California. I have taken the GMAT twice and while I scored exactly the same both times, the split between my verbal and quantitative varied significantly between the two sittings. I would like to know if schools will take this into consideration?
GMAT 1: V37 (80%) Q27 (19%) Score 530 (42%) AWA 4.5
GMAT 2: V25 (41%) Q36 (47%) Score 530 (41%) AWA 4.5
I have 5 years progressive experience in the oil and energy industry, working for one of the majors. I am a Southeast Asian female applicant with a Bachelors degree in a social science major (GPA = 3.3) and a Masters in International Relations (GPA 3.4), both from UC San Diego.
The schools I am applying to are:
UC Berkeley Evening and Weekend program (long shot because of my low GMAT scores)
UCLA FEMBA (long shot as well)
UC Davis Bay Area program
Santa Clara Evening program
