Dear Admissions Consultants,
Recently I had an MBA admissions interview. My interviewer did not specify exactly when I can expect their decision, but said it could be a matter of weeks.
Of course, I sent a thank you / follow-up email the day after the interview. However, now it's been several days and I'm wondering if at some point it would be appropriate to phone them and ask about their decision making progress. I think this might show my genuine interest in the program, and also might hint to them that I'm considering acceptance from other schools, in which case they might view me as a more valuable candidate and give me a barganing advantage so to speak.
Can you tell me if it's a good idea to call them, and what should I say?
Also, does the offer of admission come through email or maybe in a formal letter by post?
Thank you!
