Hi,
I have a couple of questions regarding applying for a 2012 MBA.
Undergrad : Top UK (russell group group). 2.1 (3.6gpa equivalent)
Work Experience: By matriculation i will have 2 years of experience (and be 25 years of age), at a top 4 British International bank, in a rotational program, which has included rotations in Private Equity and Investment banking as well as corporate banking (with international stints in KL and Shanghai).
GMAT : 710.
I am a dual British/ Libyan citizen (lived in England since a very young age) and wish to do my MBA sooner than later in order to hopefully accelerate my career with a view to going back to Libya one day in the near future (say 6-7 years time) and helping the country get back on its feet after the current crises.
Do you think it would be any sort of advantage to apply as a Libyan citizen over applying as a British citizen? and would you recommend mentioning my motivation for an MBA, or going down more of a generic route of saying i want to go down the PE/VC role, which is my medium term goal after the MBA.
The schools i am thinking of are H/S/W CBS, Oxford and Cambridge. obviously HBS is my first choice.
I would be very interested to hear your thoughts.
Regards,
