Hi,
This fall I will start my MSF with a top-ranked liberal arts college on the west coast whose undergrad program is considered among the best feeders for business school. I am considering applying for an MBA by the time I have had 2 years work experience post-MSF. Could you please recommend which programs I should target?
So far, I've got 2.5 years work experience in management consulting with a big 4 auditing firm in Vietnam. My current plan is to come back to Vietnam or another South East Asian market to work in finance/consulting.
I went to a no-name university in Vietnam for undergraduate studies. My undergrad GPA is 7.89/10 and GMAT 750/98 percentile. I actively volunteered for an international student organization as a team leader for more than 1 year during college

By MSF...I believe you refer to Masters in Finance
Ideally you should focus on your current course and get max out of it....knowing which MBA college to focus wont be tough when its time will come

The MSc in Finance will open doors to the finance industry for you. After that, you'll need to use the degree to do more than just crunch numbers to earn a spot in an MBA program. If you do become a leader of people and deals, then you should be able to target the top programs within a couple of years (Keep in mind that waiting too long to apply may make you "too experienced" to fit into the traditional MBA programs). If you become just a number cruncher, the top programs become less interested in you since they are seeking professionals with great interpersonal skills, so stay focused on those skills and continue to seek leadership at work and in the community.
