Thanks for your prompt response. Perhaps I can provide some more information.

I started the business right after graduating with a computer science degree. I have worked on successful events with budgets up to $50,000. I have a solid plan for expansion and some unique ideas. My goal is to invest in the MBA and add to the resources to take the business to the next level.

I have a wealth of volunteer/leadership experience in community service and some business roles.

At present starting applications for Michigan State, Univ of Rochester and Kelly (Indiana). My GPA in the last 2 years was 2.5.

You should be able to portray your work experience as qualitatively competitive, but your GPA would be a problem at the schools you are considering, especially combined with a very average GMAT.

I suggest you take some classes and earn A's in them to show that you know how to apply yourself in an academic setting. You may also want to see:
