Hi Linda, I would have 2 questions to ask you.
1- I don't plan to apply before the next 2 years but just for my own information, I would like to know which competitive pool I will applying against. I am Vietnamese living in Canada. I actually grew up in Canada. I would like to know whether I will be rated against all Canadians as a group or against Canadians but as a visible minority? Or does it make a difference?
2- I read about your essay service fees. I would definitely use your service when time will come but I just want to make sure that the posted fees are per school application?

To answer your questions:
1. If you are a Canadian citizen, you are a Canadian and if your parents came from Vietnam, you are a Canadian with Vietnamese ethnicity or background. However, the true point of your application, especially the essays is to move beyond the superficial labels and help the adcom see you as You, an individual with multiple facts. Don't get hung up on these labels.

Hi Linda, thank you for your reply. The only reason why I was asking this seemingly "dumb" question is because I see an overgeneralization pertaining to indian applicants in the sense that they have to be very competitive because they are applying against a very competitive category of their own. Hence my reason for asking whether there was such a dinstinct category for my own background. However, I definitely agree with you not to get hung up on such matters in the application process. Thank you again.
