GMAT: 700 (90%) (Q: 43 (64%), V: 42 (95%), AWA: 6.0 (91%))
I plan to retake the GMAT to score better on the quantitative section and cumulatively. This lower than desired quant score can be mitigated by high grades in four levels of calculus, statistics, and economics in college.

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering
both degrees obtained at very well-regarded Public school
Work Experience
3 years at a small medical device company
- Experience ranged from technical engineering work, project management, clinical site support, marketing
1.5 years at two biopharmaceutical companies
- Purely technical roles in process engineering
Post-MBA Goal
I transition from engineering to technical marketing within the health care industry. I am specifically interested in product management. I will be able to tell a clear story in my essays that link my education and work experience to this post-MBA goal.
Extracurriculars
- Tutored 5th graders in math in 2009-2010
- Freelance graphic design / branding work for several small websites and a restaurant
- Organized and served as captain of several intramural sports teams over the past 10 years.
- Avid oil painter
- Created a television show concept that has recently generated interest from a well-connected individual
- Learning Spanish with intent of fluency through software and night classes
- Learning equity trading through reading and webinars
- Extension travel to Ireland, Holland, Belgium, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Bosnia, Canada, and Mexico.
Round 1 or Early Action - Fuqua (EA), Ross, and Kellogg
Round 2 (if necessary) - Tepper, Darden, Anderson, Marshall
I am strongly attracted to Fuqua and Kellogg's strong combination of health care and marketing concentrations. Do you think I have a decent shot at my Round 1 schools? I realize Kellogg is a stretch.
