Hi there,
Please give me a quick and fair assessment of my chances of getting into a top-10 or top-20 school. Is there anything I can do to improve my chance?
I received my undergrad degree in History from Georgetown with a 3.2GPA. Then I received a fellowship sponsored by Georgetown and National Chengchi University (one of the top school in Taiwan) to do non-degree grad study in International Trade for a year. 85/100 for grade with an average of 80 being the cut off for an A.
7 years of working experience in US and overseas. Strategy consulting and capital markets operations background. Active in alumni and community activities both in New York and overseas with some leadership experience.
My first GMAT score was 640 (I can actually remember some of my mistakes). I plan to take it again. I think I might need some private tutoring.
My plan is to apply for admission for Fall 2006. Do I have a shot to reach my goal? What else can I do? Do you have any suggestion for GMAT prep? Also advise on admission consulting help.
Thank you.
Pat
