B.S. Bioengineering, B.S. Economics (3.9 GPA, well-regarded engineering school)
M.S./Ph.D. Bioengineering (4.0 GPA, Ivy, completing in 2013)
GMAT - 770
Work Exp:
0 FT (straight undergrad to PhD)
Part-time work with university tech transfer office (evaluate new life science technologies, perform competitive/market analysis)
Part-time BizDev work for a start-up biotech company (also competitive intelligence, market analysis)
Currently working closely with a company to license out a new medical device tech from my lab
ECs:
Lead multiple graduate student organizations (planned multiple large scale events)
Was on fellowship for 2 years with significant community service activities (teaching/mentoring of underprivileged students)
Awards:
Twice selected by Dean's office for fellowship (the teaching fellowship I mentioned above)
Awarded highly prestigious national research fellowship
Admitted to both of the competitive consulting workshops (Bridge/Insight)
Want to go into business development or academic tech transfer in the life sciences and I think the MBA would only be worthwhile if I can get into an elite program so I am shooting for H/S/W/CBS/MIT. Any chance?
