Hi

Thanks for the prompt replies.

There are a couple of things I wanted to clarify :

1) In courses like LSE where the required GPA is much higher, do I have a chance of getting through?
2) In all the courses I have mentioned exept HEC paris the ave. work exp. in the class profile is 2-3 years or more. Also in LBS the minium required job exp. is 2 years. So will the higher GMAT and CFA help me to overcome the lack of job exp.?

Regards

Gaurav

Yes, you do stand a pretty good chance of getting in at LSE with your GPA. An LSE application is never just about one parameter - I have seen applicants with lower GPA than yours get into the program, so don't worry about that. Work instead on creating a great application.

Your GMAT and the CFA charter (should it come through by matriculation - the charter usually takes a little while more after you clear LIII) will certainly help you at other places, but not at LBS. LBS is known to be a school that is very strict about their admissions criteria - a 'minimum' at LBS is an absolute minimum. For the Masters in Finance, they are also extremely particular about making sure that applicants have operational work experience in finance. Therefore make sure you emphasize this point in your essays, should you apply to them later. I have seen applicants whose entire app got shot down for this reason.
