Please evaluate my profile.

GMAT SCORE: 740 (Q49, V41).

UnderGraduation: B.Tech Civil Engineering from IIT Madras GPA: 6.61/10

Work Experience: Currently working as Manager IT with Tata Steel Ltd. Duration : 3 yrs 6months

Post Mba I would like to be Management consultant.

Kindly let me know the schools which are within my reach.

Hi udaykallu,

You have an excellent GMAT score, however it is difficult to recommend an MBA program with the limited information written. Are you interested in a particular location post-graduation? What business schools have you considered thus far?

Hi,

I am interested in colleges in either US, Canada or UK with good prospects of scholarships. Also pls let me know if applying in the current admission cycle or first round in next cycle is better for scholarships.
At present I'm looking at colleges such as Univ of Iowa(Tippie), Univ of NotreDame(Mendoza)

Hi udaykallu,

For financial aid advice, I recommend you read the following article: https://www.stacyblackman.com/2007/06/26 ... hicago-gsb.

If you are debating between applying in the 3rd round this year, or in the first round next year, I recommend you wait to apply until next year. Final rounds for a given school (be it round 3 or round 4) are often a bad strategy. For many schools, this is the time they are focused on completing their class and picking very specific profiles. In addition, if you submit an application in March and are not admitted, you do not have much time to regroup and improve your profile before reapplying in October for the next season.
