Nationality: Indian
Age: 34 years
Sex: Male
Bachelors in Physics from India (scored 60% )
Masters in Telecom from Australia (scored 54%)
GMAT Score : 650..Planning to take it again.
Work Experience : 8 years with Telecom firms like Vodafone,Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson(as a consultant)
Domain : Telecom Consulting
International Experience: Worked in ,Angola, Jamaica and presently in Mexico as a Consultant for Ericsson.
Biggest Achievement: Was the first person in the history of Angolan Telecommunication to support the data network.
Upgraded the telecom network in Angola to support 3G ,he technology was still unheard of in many developing countries.
Extra Curricular: Was a member of the Toast Masters Club in Gurgaon, India.
Volunteered for an NGO too.
Post MBA I would like get into Telecom consulting with firms like McKenzie, Deloitte etc.
Schools:Please recommend schools.
I will be taking GMAT again and trying to cross the 700 mark.

Yes, your age will be an issue.
You're up against frankly a lot of other Indian guys with similar kinds of backgrounds (technical, engineering) who are younger than you and therefore more coveted by full-time programs.
For the top US schools, it's going to be a stretch across all top 16 programs (consulting firms put the overwhelming majority of their recruiting efforts in the US on the top 16 schools). You may want to look at Ross, Darden, Duke, Cornell, and Yale as stretches - choose 2-3 from this list.
The Euro schools tend to skew older, but you will still be in the upper range (most US b-school students are in their mid- to late-20s, whereas in Europe most are in their late-20s to early 30s). As such, it will be an uphill battle there, but not to the same degree. Focus on INSEAD and LBS as your stretch schools, and then Oxford and Cambridge as sweet spots.
And yes, all of the above assumes that you have a 700+ GMAT, so scoring well on the retake is absolutely essential.
Finally, you may want to do more research into consulting if you're going to spend that much time and money to go back to school for it. It's McKinsey, not McKenzie. To be honest, I'm surprised you made that gaffe since you're in consulting already (it would be like a software engineer not knowing how to spell Microsoft). I hate to be harsh but better to know that now than making that same gaffe in your essays.
