Hi Alex,
I would appreciate a profile evaluation and some advices concerning GMAT score and personal statement.
I am an international student.
Age: 22
Undergraduate degree: Bachelor of Business Administration in Italy.
Work experience: two years as business developer in my family company, a medium Italian company, leading the development of a new project for a foreign customer.
Extra curricular experiences:
Professional soccer player in Italy for a few years (for some years I have been chosen as captain of the team).
Member of Italian Young Entrepreneur Association
Co-founder of a small company operating in Australia as importer for italian racing-car components.
GMAT: 560 (Q 44 , V 23). It is a low score, especially the Verbal Score. My target course is Master of Management at University of Melbourne. The average is 610, but I do not know the middle 80%. Do you have some info concerning GMAT requirement for that course in my target school?
I am not sure whether my score could weak my application as I do not know how much importance my target school gives to the GMAT since GMAT score is a requirement only for International student and not for Australian student.
How could I balance the low score in my personal statement? And on what should I put emphasis? Which chances do I have?
Thank you,
Gio
