Thanks linda,
I really appreciate the reply. I just have one more question if you dont mind. I am applying to fordham's media and communications mba program. As a result do you think the admission committee would focus on my quant scores a little less than if i go for something like finance?
HI, Rizy. If you check out the curriculum for Fordham's Communications and Media Management concentration, you'll see that it is very quant based, so I do believe that your Quant score is going to be considered extremely relevant. If you have time to try to boost the score, that can't hurt, but as Linda said, your experience and success might be enough to convince them already.

Hi,

Please give me some feedback on my profile.
I am a female applicant from India with GPA 3.5 in B.Tech(Information Technology) from an Unknown college.
I will have 36 months of experience in Informaton Technology from a Fortune 500 company.
I have not yet given GMAT but my mock GMAT scores are ~730.

Kindly let me know if I have got chances to get into top schools like Harvard/Wharton/Stern/Columbia.
Also let me know what should be my target schools if I don't have good chances with the ones I have mentioned.

Thanks in advance,
Wishful Thinker

Hi, Wishful ;-)
Most of your "chances" would depend on what you've done in your 36 months of work experience and life outside of that. If you've led groundbreaking movements and company-changing efforts, then you stand a chance at H/W/S/C, but if you've been programming or doing business analysis, then it is less likely. The "unknown college" does matter a bit as well. The top US programs like to accept graduates of the top Indian programs as well. However, for the right set of accomplishments, they do certainly look outside of that elite list of programs.
