1) Currently I hold two jobs:
- I am an IT System Analyst for a $2b global company, I started working summers after I graduated high school and worked my way up from help desk support to a systems analyst and was offered a full time position as an IT Systems Analyst the summer before my senior year pending my graduation the following May. I've been full time for a year and have recently been put in charge of managing a highly visible global project while leading a team of developers. In my first 5 months of working I implemented an application solution which saved the company $200k and introduced my group to a project management tool to help better estimate project delivery time.
- I am the founder and Executive Director of a non-profit organization that I started in 2010. We are currently doing 100k / year in contributions. I am president of the board and as such do not take a salary. I oversee about 20 people currently. We do not yet have employees.
2) 750 GMAT (First time, working on improving)
3) 2.6 GPA (B.S. in Computer Science from state school) parent's divorced beginning of my sophomore year, couldn't support me financially and I had to juggle working 20-30 hours / week in retail to pay for school
4) I volunteer at a local LGBTQ Youth center on a weekly basis.
6) The schools I am interested in: Kellog, Sloan, BU, Babson
7) My long term goal is to be able to sustain myself while working full time for my non-profit and continuing volunteering in my off time
Should I be building an alternative transcript in the meantime? Does it matter the school at which I take these alternate courses? I was looking into the HES but if they will look at it the same as taking them from a local community college I might go the cheaper route. I had an A- in Calc I, B+ in Calc II, A in Discrete structures I, but a D- in Discrete Structures II, B+ in Logical Thinking, CIS classes ranged from A's to C's
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate me!
