Hey Alex,
Not asking for a profile evaluation, but now that my application cycle is finished I felt I owed you a data point confirmation.
My background:
Asian American (not Chinese, Japanese, or Korean)
3.5 GPA
760-780 GMAT
Ivy undergrad, hard science/engineering
2 years ptfl management consulting, then 2 years of top non-MBB consulting (think Monitor-level)
Extras include career counseling for immigrants, and over the last two years I also taught an inner-city African refugee to read.
You said: stretch at H/S/W (but not long-shot), sweet spots at K/Chi/Col/Tuck/MIT, safeties everywhere else
My results: Ding at H/S/W, in at both Columbia (with $) and Chicago.
You may have been a little pessimistic with me on the T8 outside the T3, but otherwise it looks like you were mostly right!
Thanks for the realistic evaluation. I have a big choice to make!

Thanks! And no, I haven't made my decision yet; pretty difficult choice given the options available coming out of both schools. Got any advice on how to proceed tackling the problem?
