Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the reply. Let me try and address the areas of concerns that you have raised. Just to expand my earlier explanation, I have worked as an IT Compliance consultant and not as an in-house IT Compliance specialist so I had opportunities to display leadership and my work did get my employer repeat business.

As far as leadership goes- I can split it into two: traditional leadership and knowledge leadership. As an example of traditional leadership I have managed a team of 10 analysts and 2 consultants. Also over the last 2-3 years I have been managing most of my projects and worked in complex matrixed enviornment. As far as knowledge leadership goes...I was the lead consultant when 2 orgs in India got ISO27001 certified where even the CIO was coached and trained by me.

As far as revenues and markets go....in my current project we have grown from 3 consultants to 7 based on the sustainable relationships that my team and I have built. In India my org got repeat business for 3 consultants after I successfully executed a project. The team in this case grew from 1 to 3.

Also I have worked in many major markets in the world with truly international teams. Hope it gives you a better picture of my work experience. Do let me know if I have the correct ideas to begin to work with.
I (and the MBA programs) like that you are leading teams of up to 12 and that you are building your company's reputation across India. My only concern is that you are not guiding your clients and superiors strategically. I find that the top programs want to see that level of influence at least within your own organization.
