I need some guidance on schools to apply to: I am looking to get into Real Estate Development after my MBA.

Undergrad school:
University of Virginia BA in Economics
GPA 2.9
GMAT 710
Work Experience:
1 year interning on Capitol Hill. Biggest accomplishment was being able to plan and be apart of an outreach event through the White House Office of Public Engagement.
2 years working at Morgan Stanley in the Operations division of the Institution Securities Group.
Took a 3 courses through the Urban Land Institute to receive a certificate in Real Estate Development.
3 years as a Development Analyst at a prominent Washington D.C. based real estate private equity company.
I am going to apply to these schools: Harvard, Wharton, Chicago, Tuck, Columbia, Duke, Darden, Michigan, NYU, Georgetown and UMD-Smith.

Lots of great application material even though the details are scarce:
1) African American applicants are at an advantage at top b-schools due to the very low number of applicants they receive from that pool.
2) Virginia has a highly ranked UG business program, which you clearly navigated with success.
3) GMAT is stellar
This three-pronged weapon will yield good results as long as you write a compelling application. It has to move the committee on your short and long term vision for what you want to achieve and why you need the MBA to do it. Make sure you go into your passion for real estate and why you like that sector. At the end of the day, b-schools are looking for passionate people who will make a difference in the world, so to the extent you have impacted others around you (people and corporations, organizations, etc...) be sure to detail how you have done this and let us know if you need help pulling it together.
