I need a quick response on this. I just got a 690 in my GMAT (Q46, V39). I'm sure I missed 700 by a couple of points in my verbal. I had 2 months to prepare for the GMAT. So now I have to decide if I want to spend time and retake the GMAT or start my applications. Round one for my schools begins in October- so yes- I'm already behind. The schools Im looking at are Fuqua, Ross, Haas, Sloan and Stanford. The median and mean GMAT is high for all of them. Here's my background
BS in Life sciences (St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, Ranked 1st in the University)
MS in Biomedical Engineering from Duke (GPA 3.73)
Worked 3.5 years in a small biotech research company as a research associate and have a patent pending.
I need to go to a school which is strong in the healthcare/ biotech. minors which is why all the above schools make sense. But they are competitive and I'm wondering if 690 is good enough to give me a looksie and essay read by the adcoms.
Cheers
