hi Linda,
I am preparing for an MBA in 2006, have given GMAT and scored 640. But would give retake the test. I have 30 months of experience.
Right now I have got an oppurtunity to work in IBM in developer position and another offer from a small company to work as team lead.Since I have MBA as a goal I am evaluating whether I should go in for a company which gives me a senior position or the one whose name helps me in MBA. Can you help me to decide it from MBA perspective, that which of the both would be good for me in my application.

Are you working in a large well-known firm now? ARe you managing others now? How many would you manage as the team lead? What do you want to do after your MBA?

[NO, but I have an offer from a large well known Firm and a small lesser known company]
ARe you managing others now?
[No I am not managing anyone now]
How many would you manage as the team lead?
[I would be manging 3-4 people to begin with]
What do you want to do after your MBA?
[In the long term I would like to start my company, but I would work for a company in short term after a MBA]
But overall I want to know that does the name of company matters more or an individual's personal experience that may be in a small company
