You also have the masters in management program mainly followed around Europe don't think the concept is very popular with US B-schools.

Thanks a lot Jon! I had always thought that an MBA was for people with management experience, so I was confused because it seemed the American Unis accept students with 0 work experience. With regards to the exchanges - I probably didn't look in the right place.
Thanks for your advice, really helpful + informative! I feel like the best choice for me is doing an MSc as I originally intended because I don't feel I have enough management and leadership experience to keep up with people with 4-5 years of experience.

This is true, but not so much for MBA programs. Also, as nelz pointed out, in Europe, you do have the option of applying for Masters in Management (MiM) programs, which are essentially programs with the academic equivalence of an MBA but designed for people without any work experience.

And management school is not so much where you go IN as a manger (plenty of students go in with 0 management experience), but rather where you come OUT with management skills and knowledge, because that is what is taught.
