Hi,
Would request you to kindly evaluate my profile and recommend which schools I should target based on my profile and aspirations:
Demographics - Indian/Female/just turned 27
Education - Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University (top 10 percentile in Mumbai; have also been scholarship holder for standing 3rd all over Mumbai in 12th state board exams).
Chartered Accountant - 2009 (Top 7 percentile in India).
Work Ex -1. Worked in Citi's Investment Banking Division for a year right after college. Handled some excellent deals and transactions.
2. Left Citi to do internship at my family firm for 3 years, have made major contributions in terms of expanding international client-base and roll-out of legal advisory business.
3. Currently working as a
strategy consultant with one of the Indian firms (market leader in the space with 1000+ employees and aggressively expanding business overseas) for the past two and a half years. Have got significant exposure in terms of chalking out multi-billion $ strategies for some of the leading clients in India, MENA and South East Asia. Have supported trend setting first-of-its kind PPP projects in India, Bhutan, Indonesia, Nepal etc.
Leadership - Had trained analysts in Citi. Currently mentoring 2 of the analysts in my present company. Had good extra-curricular exposure in college (started new multi-college events, gathered funding and obtained requisite approvals etc.)
GMAT1) 710 (not valid anymore)
2) & 3) 640 and 690 (Due to work pressures and inadequate preparation time)
4) 740 - VA 41, QA 49 (November 2012)TOEFL - 117
I am targeting schools in US and would want to carve out my career in Management/Strategy Consulting.
Currently sent my scores to
Harvard, Stanford, MIT Sloan, Tuck & Darden. I am looking to add only a couple of more schools to the application kitty as I cannot inundate my supervisors with too many recommendation requests in such a short time-frame (since Indian, will have to submit most apps by Jan and would not want to wait another year for an MBA).
Would really appreciate your 2 cents on this. Thanks!
