Profile evaluation requested

Question

Please evaluate my profile for the Masters in Management from the London Business School.

-will take GMAT in December (expect between 650-720)
-3.6/4.0 GPA from US school (small state school)
-triple major in accounting, finance, and German
-speak German fluently, US and German citizen
-two investment banking internships at some boutique banks
-owner of small startup

I would really rather respond after you get your GMAT. 650-720 is an enormous range. When you do respond, can you also tell me what you would like to do after you earn your MBA? Also how long have you been managing your start up on a full-time basis. And perhaps a little info about the start up. If you don't want to wait until December, let me know what you feel is your likely score.

Linda, thank you for the reply. This is not for an MBA, but rather LBS' MiM program. Does that make any difference?

Sorry. I didn't notice that you are applying to the MiM, not the MBA. In that case, a short amount or no work experience is just fine. The MiM is for people with little or no full-time work experience, and they do like impressive internships.

So now we're talking about the GMAT. Again, 650-720 is still a big range. Given your strong GPA, internships, entrepreneurial background, I think you will have a competitive chances with any score above the average, which is 689. Your chances will decline as you get closer to 650, but will still be >0.
