As for getting into a decent university, you have to define what that is. Your chances of being accepted into a program that are part of the world's top 50 would be challenging. However, there are many great programs that do not fit into this ranking that are excellent and would provide you with a great education and career prospects. However, if you do decide to apply, you have to realize that your margin of error has been used up by your GMAT score and you are going to have to submit a great application that makes you a compelling candidate.

I understand my GMAT score doesn't allow me to apply for an MBA Program in the top 50 universities. However, as I continue to ruminate over your reply, situation doesn't look as grim as I expected. I am pretty naive and have the least knowledge about the other programs you are talking about. Could you please elaborate/ suggest more on this?
And what are the main points expected from my end to make my application a splendid or rather an outstanding one?
