NYU chances are better than Columbia but their application is very tricky. You have to sell Stern admissions that it is your top choice and if admitted you will attend.

Besides essays, you need to focus on recommendations, resume, application, electronic footprint, etc.

Please realize that Columbia is a very popular school and attracts a very competitive candidate pool -- so you have to make sure that you invest the time, energy and resources as your fellow candidates or you might fall behind them in terms of competitiveness.

Good luck.

Hi Kimberly,

Thank you for guidance so far. I have one last question: What do you think my chances are for INSEAD round 3?

Thank you.
