EDUCATION: 710 GMAT, 116 TOEFL, Bachelors of Technology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University(state government run university) with a 65% aggregate in Electronics & Communication Engineering. CFA Level II candidate.
WORK: Working as an senior business analyst in Strategy & Operations at a private insurance firm since 3years. This is my first job. Work primarily involves distribution channel analysis, annual operating plans, sales alliances' term sheets, performance management systems and compensation structures.
EXTRA CURRICULAR: worked with an NGO for teaching the underprivileged kids for a few months, won a handful of debates and drama competitions at college and school.
MISC: knowledge of french and dutch languages(basic verbal fluency). Amateur Street Photographer and keyboard enthusiast.
I plan to apply this year for Fall'14 admissions.
Need some clarity on the kind of colleges which are aspirational and achievable in the US & Europe(both mainland and UK).
Any and every comment/suggestion on the profile are welcome!

Was your 65% a first or a second class degree?
Your grades and GMAT score is low for an Indian applicant from the most competitive applicant group. I suggest you retake the GMAT because you can control this part of your profile.
Your work experience differs from the standard IT background. Dig into your background and try to differentiate yourself from your peer group in terms of leadership (if you do not have direct reports this can be influencing skills, demonstrating initiative, etc.) and impact (e.g impact of your analysis on sales, partners, etc.).
Did you have any leadership positions with the NGO? Is there a compelling personal story with any of the underprivileged kids with which you have worked?
With your present profile you are most likely outside the top 15 in the U.S. and top 5 in Europe. What are your goals and desired region to work? This would be helpful in recommending other schools. Within England you are not competitive for LBS and Oxford and Cambridge might be stretches. You are competitive for the other schools in England.

My degree qualifies as a First Division degree, yes. My role at the NGO was that of a pseudo-leader/coordinator. Does this help and move me up a few notches in the top15 colleges? I'm being realistic so the Ivy League is not even being talked of here. Any chance of me cracking Top 9- 15 schools in the US?
