Hi,
I have both a BS and a MS and was wondering if Undergraduate GPA is looked at more or Graduate GPA? Is one weighed more heavily than the other or are they equal?

Adcoms don't ignore the MS GPA entirely, but they will look more closely at your BS GPA since it's easier to benchmark you against other candidates (not everyone has an MS and the ones who do an MS aren't necessarily smarter than those who don't do an MS at all).

Yes, the undergrad GPA is weighed more heavily because it involved a longer stretch of time and because schools assume that applicants will tend to do well in their chosen subjects (grad school). That said, the more demanding the grad program academically the more a high GPA helps you. That is, someone who earned a mediocre GPA as a liberal arts major at a so-so school can impress the adcoms if s/he earns a high GPA in a technical/quantitative grad program at a rigorous school.
