Hi Linda,

Could you please evaluate my profile:

1) Brief description: Process Engineer at Shell, 4.5 years of work experience in India (2 years), Qatar (1 year) and US (1.5 years).

India: Designed the overall process structure and provided a cost estimation of a subsea development for a project in Australia. Shell won the bid for the plot using the design. Provided Process Safety Basic Requirement studies to avoid brittle fracture of metallic materials during emergency blowdown to the three important assets of Shell: PDO, BSP and Gabon.
Qatar: Long and short term production planning for all major products during the critical start-up phase of the Pearl GTL plant. Provided start-up support, tracked performance against schedule and reported key metrics such as gas flaring to senior management and external stakeholders.
US: Designing the overall Process System of Carmon Creek Project (10B$ investment). Fabricated from scratch the fuel gas system, building heating system, and glycol heating system. Supervising 3-4 contractors in this job.

2) GMAT: 750 (Q51, V40)

3) College info: IIT Kanpur, B.Tech. 7.6/10 and M.Tech 8.4/10, Major in Chemical Engineering, Year of Graduation 2009.

4) Extra-C:
In College:

Lead a team of 300 students in two national level events (Head of Finance, Megabucks: The Techno-managerial Fest and Principal Security Officer, Techkriti, the Tech Fest, both at IIT Kanpur)
During work: Some volunteering activities in community services, but none i believe that i can bank upon. Photography: Led the Shell photography club in India. Member of Shell's professional Football and Cricket Team. Also, I am going to attend a 10 day volunteering activity for earth watch expedition in Canada as a shell ambassador.

5) Important certifications: N.T.S.E.? Its a National Talent Search Scholarship certification done by the Govt. of India (Roughly 250-300 students are selected nationwide during high school), I dont know how relevant this will be.

6) Your target programs: Kellogg R1 2013-14, Tuck R1 2013-14, Wharton R2 2013-14, Booth R2 2013-14, LBS R2/R3 2013-14
May switch Booth with Kellogg or Tuck for R1.

7) MBA Goal: I plan to work in a consulting firm which is active in the energy sector to learn more about strategy development, technology evaluation, project assessment and corporate environmental management.

Thanks,
Abhishek
