Very interesting profile. The pluses will be your work experience and engineering degree from a top school. Minuses will be the disconnect between your past work and your future goals. Adcoms are fine with career switchers, but the film and entertainment industry is notoriously difficult to break into, so you will need to make a case for how you will be able to pull this off, otherwise they may see you as a postMBA employment risk. Other things to consider will be how to couch your business failure as a learning experience and convincing them it has allowed you to bring something valuable to the table for your classmates. I would say your profile would need a really good GMAT score to get the right attention---above the average at the ivys for sure. Other schools to consider given your interest in media and animation include UCLA, USC Marshall and NYU. don't think it's all about the ivys--other schools may be a better fit considering your goals.
